The school holidays have arrived and i figured it was time to dust off the brushes for some much needed decompressing.
This is tonight’s progress shot of a piece I’ve been working on here and there over time, and has gone back and forth between several different directions since I started it – I know I’m not great to begin with but I think I’m losing my touch lol. A good friend of mine said to be bold with the dark highlights which I totally agree with, I particular I think I need to be bolder with my lame attempt at a fence.
The dodgy looking mist just sort of happened when I attempted to lighten the sky in order to bring out the mountains so im not sure if it will remain, I’m thinking I’ll probably redo the mountains entirely but will see what happens – in the meantime I’ll probably keep working on the foreground, any suggestions are welcome.
